What you need to know before we talk.
Straight answers to the questions most HNW families ask before reaching out.
Yes. A core focus of my practice is dedicated to helping high-net-worth women navigate the financial complexities of divorce. I provide specialized, empathetic guidance to ensure you understand your options, protect your interests, and confidently build a secure financial foundation for your next chapter.
A Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®) is a professional with specialized training in the financial issues surrounding divorce. I work alongside you and your legal team to analyze property division, model the short- and long-term impacts of different settlement scenarios, evaluate tax implications, and help ensure that any proposed settlement is financially viable for your future.
It is highly recommended to engage a financial advisor as early in the process as possible—ideally before or concurrently with hiring an attorney. Early involvement allows us to fully organize your financial picture, identify complex assets, and strategize from the beginning, empowering you to make informed decisions throughout the negotiations.
For our initial consultation, it is helpful to have a general overview of your marital and separate finances. This includes recent tax returns, recent statements for bank and investment accounts, details on real estate and mortgages, and information regarding retirement plans or business interests. If you don't have access to everything right away, don't worry—part of our process is helping you gather and organize this information.
